බැල්ඩියස්ගේ ලංකා පුරාවෘත්තය / True and Exact Description of the Great Island of Ceylon.
A full and faithful account of the civil, religious, and domestic condition of Ceylon in the 17th century. In this, he introduced also an interesting account of the Hindu mythology, and some specimens of the Tamil language, including the translation of the Lord's Prayer: defective enough it is true, but remarkable as the first treatise, printed in Europe, on any Indian language. The title of the whole work, from which this book is extracted, is Description of the East Indian Countries of Malabar, Coromandel, Ceylon, etc. (in Dutch, 1671)
17 වන ශතවර්ෂයේ ලංකාවේ සිවිල්, ආගමික සහ ගෘහස්ථ තත්ත්වය පිළිබඳ සම්පූර්ණ හා විශ්වාසවන්ත වාර්තාවක්. මෙහි දී ඔහු හින්දු මිථ්යාව පිළිබඳ රසවත් වාර්තාවක් ද, ස්වාමීන්ගේ යාච්ඤාවේ පරිවර්තනය ද ඇතුළුව දෙමළ භාෂාවේ සමහර නිදර්ශක ද හඳුන්වා දුන්නේය: එය ප්රමාණවත් තරම් දෝෂ සහිත ය, නමුත් එය යුරෝපයේ මුද්රණය කරන ලද, ඕනෑම ඉන්දියානුවෙකු පිළිබඳ පළමු නිබන්ධනය ලෙස කැපී පෙනේ. භාෂාව. මෙම ග්රන්ථය උපුටා ගන්නා ලද සම්පූර්ණ කෘතියේ මාතෘකාව වන්නේ නැගෙනහිර ඉන්දීය මලබාර්, කොරමැන්ඩල්, ලංකාව යනාදී රටවල් පිළිබඳ විස්තරයයි (ලන්දේසි භාෂාවෙන්, 1671)
